About the fund

Backing youth climate action in Trans Nzoia

YCAF supports youth-led and youth-serving organisations turning climate ambition into ground-level action — from solar kiosks in Kwanza to wetland restoration in Kiminini. Sponsor organisations can also apply on behalf of youth teams.

This programme is delivered by the County Government of Trans Nzoia in partnership with the Youth Climate Action Fund and supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies.

Eligibility

Applications are invited from organisations operating within Trans Nzoia County.

Youth-led organisations

Youth clubs, youth groups, and youth associations run by and for young people.

Youth-serving organisations

Organisations whose programmes directly support and involve young people.

Sponsor organisations

County agencies, educational institutions, museums, faith-based and community-based organisations applying on behalf of youth teams.
